For those of you that have firewalls, well any firewall that will show you the raw packets coming in and out you might have seen the “REJECT or DENY eth0 PROTO=” and have wondered what the numbers mean, I know I did for the longest time and so searching high and low I finally found the explanation ! so here it is…
